Soul Flying
You cannot reach me right now.
My soul is among the stars
And beneath the seas.
I am not what you see.
I feel only passion,
Courage, and freedom.
I feel pride and love.
I wish I could take you along on this journey.
I know you could feel it too.
Sometimes it's like flying,
Sometimes it's like dying,
All over again.
But always it reminds me that it will end.
The sadness is at times too much to bear,
But that is the one part you cannot share.
Do you feel it,
The way the mountains speak?
Do you feel the beauty of my dreams?
