Rules for an Adventure-Based Learning Environment
1. One person speaks at a time.
2. No put downs.
3. Don't fool around in sensitive situations.
4. Find positive things to say to classmates.
5. Challenge by Choice - no one has to do anything he or she is not comfortable with.
6. Keep an open mind.
7. Have fun!
8. Listen - work within the parameters of the challenge you are given.
9. Encourage classmates to take risks, but let people make their own decisions.
10. Be responsible for yourself and for those in your group.
11. Know that your behavior affects others and act accordingly.
12. Think and reflect - before, during, and after each activity.
