MINE
No door is not open to me,
No path is forbidden;
No sky is too high to reach,
No place is too dark to see.
You stand behind your barriers
And warn me of what dangers lie waiting.
You tell me not to run too fast,
For fear I may fall.
You tell me not to swim too deep,
For fear I may drown.
You tell me not to climb too high,
But I'm already out of sight...
One hand in the ice,
One hand in the flame,
One heart on the mountain,
One eye on the game;
Body trembling on the shore
Knowing the beauty of what could be had
Cold eyes gazing toward the door
Time flies when all things are explored...
One moment in my world is a lifetime wasted in yours.
