Magic Palace
In a silver and crystal glass palace
We dance in goldren candlelight
Light from Heaven, quickly sent
For you, for me, and a thousand memories
Clear veils cover our faces
Magenta ribbons flutter in our hair
And very far above our heads
Fly angels, placing them with care
Faint laughter traces fill the air,
A tantalizing sound
Creating echoes of past dances
As we float above the ground
And when we fly through walls of windows
Out into the moonlit skies
We dance to these silent violins
And watch the sleeping world lie
Together we fly, fair as doves
We reign all beauty, caring, strength, and love
There's no place in this world or above
To find more pure unending love...
But as I wake, I realize my mistake...
I weep with grief for the magic we shared
That slipped through my fingers
As we danced through the air
But then I find, to my surprise
That my tears of longing fall
Onto a single magenta ribbon
Lying on a folded silver veil.
