Killer (2 versions)
Version 1: Sitting in a circle
Age group: Any
Outside/Inside: Either
Materials: None
Description:
Have all of the kids close their eyes and put their heads down. Walk quietly around the outside of the circle and tap one of them gently on the head. He will be the "Killer." As soon as you have returned to your place, tell them to open their eyes and look around, making eye contact with different members of the group. The killer's job is to inconspicuously winkat several of the people he makes eye contact with. If a member is winked at, he must wait for 3 seconds or so and then pretend to "die" (some kids get very dramatic with this and it's quite funny).
Object:
To figure out who is the killer. If a member guesses incorrectly, he or she must also "die."
Version 2: Walking around
Other specs are the same
Description: Start out standing in a circle with heads bowed and eyes closed. Use the same method for choosing the killer. The only difference is this: instead of sitting in a circle and dying from a wink, the members will walk around slowly and shake hands with other members of the group. If the killer taps his finger on the palm of the other person's hand, that person dies after shaking hands with one other person. Same object: kids must figure out who is the killer.
