Group Forming
This stage is what occurs when a group is first formed. In a group of strangers, most members will act very polite and reserved, showing little initiative. There will probably be little casual conversation. You get the idea. Members, especially adolescents, are slightly uncomfortable as they are not yet familiar with each other. Activities for this level are often referred to simply as "ice-breakers."
