You Know You Live in the UP When...
1. One or more of your classes are cancelled on the opening day of Deer Hunting season.
2. On Halloween, people go Trick-or-Treating on snowshoes.
3. You can drive for 50 miles along a main highway and see nothing but trees.
4. As you leave to run some errands, you tell your roommate, "I’m going oot and aboot, eh."
5. You refer to people downstate as "trolls" because they live 'under the bridge.'
6. All of the sports you do involve snow.
7. You sigh in resignation when people say, "I didn’t know Michigan HAD an upper peninsula!"
8. You have to use a snowblower to uncover your car. The week of Thanksgiving.
9. Skinning wild animals is a favorite recreational pasttime. (Or maybe that's just Tracker students ;)
