Conversation with an Old Friend
This friend and I went to school together for 4 years and became quite close. Occasionally we attempt to give each other insights on the opposite (for them) sex. It rarely works. Take for example this recent conversation:
ME: got any female prospects yet?
HIM: Well, life is full of prospects, now isn't it? :D Yes, there are a number of females that I have my eye on, as well as a number that just frequently catch my eye.
HIM: How about you?
ME: oh, I'm still working on the same cutie
HIM: Ahhh.
ME: sometimes I think I have him hooked, others I'm not so sure... (omitted - lewd comment)
HIM: Just be agressive.
ME: mm, could yeild undesirable consequences if he ISN'T interested.
ME: although lately, I have been seriously considering jumping on him at a random, vulnerable moment...
HIM: Nah. Don't be overpowering. Just forward..
HIM: Then…tell me how. :D
ME: hmph. You’re no help. :-)
Yes, sad and pathetic, I know. Don't rub it in. :)
