My Artist's Prayer
Spirit that moves through all things,
Help me realize my own potential.
Help me face my fears.
Help me move away from what is comfortable,
Into the unknown.
Help me surrender to your guiding force.
Let me always follow the light within myself.
Let me always remember and have faith
That the light is there.
Help me overcome my doubts
In order to improve myself.
Help me love myself and the world.
Let me follow what dreams may come,
Regardless of what others say.
Help me find others who think and feel this way;
Help me recognize them.
Help me realize that everything I do
Is meaningful and unique.
Help me open the channels within me,
That your energy may flow through me
And merge with mine,
And flow back out into the world
As something unique and beautiful.
Thank you, spirit creator,
For all that you have given me.
