If you want to find some evil against which to rail,
Look at the everyday world around you.
You can watch America the Great
Fucking up the whole world's fate
From the prime-time channel of your own backyard.
Look into the empty eyes of fools
Who live lives with no purpose.
Read the filth written on the bathroom walls
In high schools where kids shoot each other.
Read about the gang rape in our cities.
Stand outside a schoolyard fence at playtime
And watch the senseless bullying of helpless children.
Watch your neighbors buy CDs,
Diet pills and SUVs,
And fill themselves with pizza grease,
While refugees starve and freeze.
Watch your country worship a prejudiced God
Without ever asking if their God is real.
A God who is a copy of a stern parents
Who enforces illogical rules
And outdated morals.
This is America.
